The design for the new Daegu Gosan Public Library wishes to provide those spaces of advanced information technologies and spatial experience. Because the access to information isbecoming “softer” and the interfaces more mobile, the focus of the design relies on the creation of multiple experience rooms which provide different “sceneries” to process your information.
The program of the library has been organized in a simple level distribution. The “Culture & Lifelong” activitiesare located on the 1F (street level) for easy access, “Office and GeneralCollection Room” activities on the 2F and the “Children” activities on the 3F. Mechanical/electrical room and the preservation room are located on the underground floor (-1F).
